Union Chapel Core Values

AS we have talked about our core values for the past two weeks, I wanted to post them here as well, just as a reminder to you.

1. The Authority of Gods Word - The power of Gods word to change lives and to teach us how to live and respond to our God.
Memory verse - 2 Timothy 3:14-16

2. The Authority of Prayer - Our communication link with God. It is how we talk with Him and how we learn to rest in Him.
Memory verse - 2 Chronicles 7:14

3. Christ Alone - "Salvation is found in no other, for there is no other name under heave by which we must be saved." Christ and Christ alone is how we inherit the Kingdom of Heaven.
Memory verse - Acts 4:12

4. Witnessing - We are called to go to the ends of the earth and spread the good news (the Gospel) of Jesus Christ. If we are not teaching and telling others about Christ then we are not fulfilling His calling on our lives.
Memory verse - Matthew 28:18-20

5. The Fellowship of Believers - As we live life, it is important that we stay connected with other believers. As brothers and Sisters in Christ, we are to support one another, love one another, teach one another, and encourage one another. We are also to keep one another accountable, to make sure that we are living the way Christ has called us to live.
Memory verse - Hebrews 10:24-25

At UCC, we believe that these five core values, built on the foundation of the Ten Commandments is a biblical calling for UCC. I would encourage you to memorize these values, and the scripture that goes with them. It is from these five core values that all ministry at UCC will be born.
